Petra is the super talented dyer behind the immensely popular and sought after Black Elephant yarns. Slovakian by by birth, Petra's love for yarn and knitting was rekindled in 2010 when she relocated to South Yorkshire and found herself craving the warmth of wool.
Trained as an architect, Petra has put aside her old vocation to concentrate on creating magic with colours and wool, and we are so so glad! She's inspired by her natural surroundings, and dyes in her environmentally responsible studio. Her yarns are globally sought after, and no wonder!
We think her colours are mesmerising on this Superwash Merino Singles base! Check out our exclusive Tribe colourways: Spirited Away & Milli!
