Our online shop will be open to order from every day, but here are the last shipping dates for Christmas delivery of orders.

We advise you to order as early as possible because we can't guarantee delivery for Christmas (remember how unreliable Royal Mail can get at that time of year?)

Our final shipping day before Christmas is 24th December. Shipping will resume on 5th Jan 2026 for orders placed from 24th Dec (afternoon) until 4th Jan 2026. Orders will be processed in the order that they were received (except for DHL orders which are prioritised).

In-store collections are not available between 24th Dec and 4th Jan inclusively.

General Shipping Info

We ship Domestically and Worldwide with Royal Mail and DHL Express. Our shipping rates are based on the weight of your order.

Packages are sent out Monday - Friday (except Bank Holidays).

We do our very best to post your goodies as soon as possible - usually the same day. You will receive an automated shipping confirmation e-mail as soon as your order leaves us.

UK Customers

Any orders which can be mailed in an envelope (e.g. knitting needles and/or individual patterns) are sent 1st Class with no tracking available.

All "parcel" orders are sent using either Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service, or with DHL Express for next business day delivery (if ordered before 11am).*

Choose Click & Collect at check out to collect your order from the shop from 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Tracked 48 Packages do not require a signature on delivery, and you will be emailed the tracking number if you provide your email address. You are able to allocate a safe place to leave your parcel if you aren't around to accept delivery (e.g. with a neighbour or in secure place on your property).

We strongly suggest that provide your mobile phone number if you'd like DHL Express delivery updates.

Orders sent 1st Class usually arrive 1 day AFTER DISPATCH. Tracked 48 packages are usually delivered within 2 to 3 working days AFTER DISPATCH. Royal Mail Tracked 48 It includes end-to-end tracking, confirmation of delivery. This service does not guarantee delivery within exactly 48 hours, but aims for a delivery window of 2 to 3 working days, including Saturdays.

DHL Express orders usually arrive the next working day, if your order is placed by 11am. We do not guarantee delivery times since they are completely out of our control.

*Note that shipping time estimates are not 100% guaranteed. We cannot be held liable for parcels that are (unusual) delivered later a little than normally expected. Delays are always due to unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding.

International Customers

USA Tariff Update:
From 1st September 2025, all US orders will ship Delivered Duties Paid (DDP).
Customs duties (usually ~10%) will show at checkout, so you’ll see the total cost upfront. No surprise courier bills.

All international orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail and charges are based on the weight of your order.
Europe: orders usually arrive within 2 - 5 working days
Rest of the World: orders usually arrive within 5 - 7 working days

DHL Express:
Alternatively, we can send your orders with DHL for est. 1-2 day shipping to Europe, USA and Canada; est. 2 day shipping to Hong Kong and Japan; est. 3-4 day shipping to the remainder of the world (approx.)

All International parcels are sent with tracking with tracking code provided. A signature may be required upon delivery. For deliveries in rural areas, please allow extra time.

Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be liable to taxes, duties, custom charges and extra fees charged by the courier company at destination. Payment will need to be made by the recipient and we cannot be held responsible for any charge once the package has been shipped from our HQ. Please note the custom process might incur additional delays.

Europe PDDP**
This group of countries includes:
Germany, France, the Republic of Ireland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Malta, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg

Prices valid for all orders weighing 1.8kg (4lb) or less, and volume limited to package size of 33 x 31 x 9cm. Custom Quotes available for shipments over these sizes. Email us at connect@tribeyarns.com

Orders under €150 Euro:
VAT at your local country rate will be collected at check out on orders under €150 Euro (approx GBP£130). This also means that you should get your parcels more quickly as they fast-track the customs procedures at borders. Parcels are sent with our IOSS / VAT details clearly displayed, and labelled duty exempt. (You may be charged handling or processing fees by your local post office - but no VAT or duty should be charged).

Orders over €150:
Not covered by IOSS, so we will not charge any taxes, and orders are likely to be subject to import duty and VAT upon reaching your jurisdiction. These levies are the responsibility of the customer to pay.

*Note for our Czech and Romanian customers - these two countries are not yet participating in the IOSS scheme so VAT for orders for customers in these locations will not be collected at checkout. Therefore taxes and handling fees may still apply when the items are delivered (just to confuse you all a little bit more...)

Free Shipping

We don't hide shipping costs in our product costs. As much as we would 🌸 LOVE 🌸 to offer Free Shipping forever, in reality we don't think it's a fair and transparent way to do business (hiding the actual cost in product prices, or exploiting underpaid delivery drivers), or a reasonable expectation.

(Even Amazon Prime charges over £100 per year to cover shipping.)

We do promise to keep our shipping prices AS LOW AS POSSIBLE, and we don't make any profit on packaging & shipping.
