*Reduced hours for now while we juggle schedules, and stock, and online orders etc... We'll add more opening hours soon!

Or you could sit back and let us DELIVER YOUR ORDER TO YOU! (We ship 5 days a week with Royal Mail or DHL Express)

Virtual Personal Shopping is a really great option for "safe" shopping and can be done via your screens or even at the door (unless we're in Tier 4 or higher)!

When we're open again, we will be limiting the number of customers in the shop at any given time, so you might need to take a seat outside for a bit... Bring your knitting/crochet?

Please try to research what you want to look at beforehand to reduce time spent in the shop - not because we don't LOVE a long, sensual, casual, relaxed browse (we really do), but we need to do our bit to limit exposure etc. You should aim to spend under 15 mins in the shop.

And lastly, everyone MUST wear a mask or suitable facial covering whilst in the shop - no exceptions.

New Shop at 17 Richmond HillOur fun, welcoming and treasure-filled shop is situated in gorgeous Richmond-upon-Thames - a jewel in London’s crown.

Probably London's most attractive borough, it has long been a favourite retreat for Royalty and the rich and famous.

The River Thames runs for over 10 miles through the borough, linking Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Town Centre and Kew Gardens with London. Richmond rivals anywhere in London with its beautiful Royal Parks and open spaces, historic houses, theatres, museums, galleries, exhibits and town centre bursting with life.

Only 10 miles southwest of Central London, you can access Richmond by tube, train, bus, car, bike, boat and foot (see below). With easy access and a world to see and do, Richmond upon Thames provides the perfect getaway!

And don't forget to take a very short stroll up Richmond Hill from Tribe to experience the only view in England that is protected by an Act of Parliament. Unmissable!

Shop Navigation & Accessibility

Our shop is arranged over 3 floors.

The Main Floor houses yarns from Lace weight through to Sport weight as well as books, patterns and all the notions. There is a 2½" step to get into the front door, and the door is 41" or 105cm wide.

The 1st Floor (with access via a gorgeous metal spiral staircase) is where you'll find the thicker yarns from DK through to Jumbo. The main table and chairs are upstairs too. This is where most of our lessons and workshops take place, although sometimes classes can be moved downstairs if they take place outside of regular opening hours.

The Basement is mainly Staff Only access, but we do host some workshops in the Basement, e.g. Shibori dyeing. The toilets are located in the Basement. Access is via a spiral staircase.

Please note that bags are not allowed on the Spiral Staircase, but can be left with staff on the Main Floor.
