Opening Hours:

--- COVID19 UPDATE ---

We are heartbroken to say that our physical store in lovely Richmond will close its doors to the public at 6pm on 21st March until it's safe for us to reopen. We have made this decision in order to help keep our customers and staff safe.

Our website is still very much open for ordersfor delivery, globally! We will be answering the phone when we are in store packing up orders, and replying to emails - although please excuse us if there's a delay in replying.

Per Public Health England (PHE) people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we have been reassured that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels.

We follow stringent sanitation measures to make sure that your parcels are packed by hands that are completely clean in line with highly publicised guidance from PHE.

We think it's SO important to keep crafting, and doing those small things that bring you peace and joy. So we are going to try to stay open as long as we can.

Rest assured that we are not putting any staff at risk - only Milli and her hubbie (and son sometimes) are working in the shop right now. We are working with couriers and postal workers to stay safe and maintain minimum distances.
A Huge thank you for supporting our small business, and all the other small businesses. Your orders make a massive difference.

New Shop at 17 Richmond HillWE HAVE MOVED!!! Don't worry though, we haven't gone far - just across the street in fact, to 17 Richmond Hill, TW10 6RE. Our new space is so much bigger and brighter and gorgeous! Come see us!

Our fun, welcoming and treasure-filled shop is situated in gorgeous Richmond-upon-Thames - a jewel in London’s crown.

Probably London's most attractive borough, it has long been a favourite retreat for Royalty and the rich and famous.

The River Thames runs for over 10 miles through the borough, linking Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Town Centre and Kew Gardens with London. Richmond rivals anywhere in London with its beautiful Royal Parks and open spaces, historic houses, theatres, museums, galleries, exhibits and town centre bursting with life.

Only 10 miles southwest of Central London, you can access Richmond by tube, train, bus, car, bike, boat and foot (see below). With easy access and a world to see and do, Richmond upon Thames provides the perfect getaway!

And don't forget to take a very short stroll up Richmond Hill from Tribe to experience the only view in England that is protected by an Act of Parliament. Unmissable!

Shop Navigation & Accessibility

Our shop is arranged over 3 floors.

The Main Floor houses yarns from Lace weight through to Sport weight as well as books, patterns and all the notions. There is a 2½" step to get into the front door, and the door is 41" or 105cm wide.

The 1st Floor (with access via a gorgeous metal spiral staircase) is where you'll find the thicker yarns from DK through to Jumbo. The main table and chairs are upstairs too. This is where most of our lessons and workshops take place, although sometimes classes can be moved downstairs if they take place outside of regular opening hours.

The Basement is mainly Staff Only access, but we do host some workshops in the Basement, e.g. Shibori dyeing. The toilets are located in the Basement. Access is via a spiral staircase.

Please note that bags are not allowed on the Spiral Staircase, but can be left with staff on the Main Floor.
