The Wings Rouleau Sweater by Sus Gepard is a beautifully understated cashmere sweater with a clever twist. Worked mainly in stockinette stitch, it features a beautiful curved opening across the front, highlighted by a contrasting rouleau trim. The result is an elegant, sculptural shape with just the right amount of detail.
Our kits use the original Eco Cashmere Vintage by Gepard for the main colour – an exceptionally soft and lightweight 100% cashmere made from approximately 50% recycled cashmere and 50% new fine cashmere. For the contrast, you can choose another shade of Eco Cashmere Vintage or add a splash of colour with hand-painted Artyarns Eco Cashmere.
Using Artyarns for the contrast is a particularly gorgeous option: the hand-painted colour brings the rouleau and cuffs to life, while the luxurious Gepard cashmere keeps the body soft, light and beautifully understated.
Your Kit Includes:
• Yarn: 7 (8) 9 (10) balls of Gepard Eco Cashmere Vintage for Colour A
• Yarn: 1 (1) 2 (2) balls of your chosen contrast yarn for Colour B - either Gepard Eco Cashmere Vintage or Artyarns Eco Cashmere

• Short circular needles 4mm and 5mm for the sleeves, or magic loop

Gepard
Gepard Garn was established by Sus Gepard in 1989. The Danish brand is influenced by Scandinavian style and design, with a focus on high-quality yarns and inspiring patterns.Eco Cashmere Vintage is a luxurious 100% cashmere yarn made from approximately 50% recycled cashmere and 50% new fine cashmere. The recycled cashmere comes from new, unused knitted and woven products, following a long tradition of recycling textile industry residuals in the Prato area of Italy.
It's wonderfully soft and lightweight, with the beautiful handle and warmth you'd expect from cashmere without feeling heavy in the finished garment.
Artyarns
Artyarns is known for its luxurious, hand-painted yarns and extraordinary colour. Their Eco Cashmere is a blend of 50% recycled and 50% virgin cashmere and is exceptionally light, soft and cosy. Each skein is hand-painted, giving the colour subtle variations and depth.
We love using it here as the contrast: just a single skein or two is enough to give the cuffs and signature rouleau trim a beautiful flash of colour.
