  • We're doing it again! Our Tribe KALs are legendary (and we only pick epic knits!)

Trouville by Sophie Ochera: Inspired by the bright stripy tents and architectural details found in Trouville-Sur-Mer, in Normandy!

"Seamless and knit in the round from the top down, it was designed as a cropped cardigan that can be worn with the buttons down the front OR the back, but it can easily be made as a simple sweater as well, just don’t knit the steek stitches and add short rows at the back neck.

"You can also easily tailor the length to suit your preference. Textural details include occasional rows of purl stitch as well as small bobbles around the neckline and cuffs.

"A great mid-season sweater for an evening drink on the promenade!"

Level of difficulty and skills required

Adventurous Intermediate. Our KAL is guided, which means we will be offering tips and advice as we go, but you definitely need to be ready to tackle things like:
    chart-reading
short rows (if you wish to make the sweater version)
    stranded colourwork
    cable cast-on
    steeking!

We will be on hand to help you choose the perfect yarns and colours for your sweater.

Tribe KALs are all about community, yarns friendships, support and laughs. We keep doing them because they are so much fun! Try to keep your Friday evenings free during the KAL so you can get the most out of the KAL. Whilst there is a good amount of technique discussed during the sessions, the idea is more of a "knit-along" as opposed to workshops. It's more of a social thing😁!

Everyone is welcome, but bear in mind the skill level.
