Kokon Merino Fingering

We brought in this lovely yarn after working with it on our stunning Elvan Shawl Kits, and being so impressed with it!

This gorgeous 100% Merino, Fingering Weight yarn from mulesing-free South African fleeces is gorgeously soft and smooth.

The high twist lends a natural sheen and neat finish your project.

You'll notice that the yardage is less than you get with most fingering weight 100g skeins - this is due to the denser pack of the twist which is what helps to make it so easy and pleasurable to work with.

We ADORE the semi-solid colours which range from flattering pastels to warm, saturated tones, which all work really well together.

Since the yarn is 100% Superwash Merino, it's safe for anyone with lanolin based wool allergies, and in theory, you can machine wash it (although we recommend hand washing for all our hand-dyed yarns).
