Öræfi Sweater Kits with Angora (Oraefi)

We LOVE this gorgeous pattern by G. Dagbjört Guðmundsdóttir, and LOVE the way it works up in a delicious combo of soft, springy Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibres and luxurious, floofy Belangor™ 100% French Angora.

With a light, bouncy body with plenty of texture, will give you next-to-skin soft sweater without compromising on warmth or rustic charm.

We've made kits of our fav colour combos, but please feel free to create your own colour combos too! (we have included pics here of some fav combos!)

Your Kit Includes:
• 300 (300, 350, 350, 400, 400)g of Woolstok Worsted Yarn by Blue Sky Fibres (shown in Midnight Sea)

• 60 (60, 70, 70, 80, 80)g of Belangor™ 

• Our top-down pattern notes which will enable you to knit the sweater Top Down instead of Bottom-Up as it is written. We prefer this way since you can try it on as you go and ensure the right fit. The notes in a spreadsheet format, with a schematic, so you can enter your gauge and all the row calcs will be made for you.

You will also need:
• The Pattern (available here on Ravelry)
• 4mm (US 6)
• 4.5mm (US 7) circular needles, 80cm and 40cm (or just Magic Loop)
• 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles, 40cm (or longer for Magic Loop)
• 3.5mm and 4.5mm double pointed needles (or Magic Loop)

Sizes:

* Please note that if you wish to make the sweater longer, you might want to purchase an extra hank of Woolstok.Also, the amount of belangor included will not leave much by way of leftovers, so don't leave extra long tails. It responds well to spit splicing/felting when joining another ball. It also assumes that on Colour A only rounds, you are not carrying Colour B around on the back.

Full disclosure: The yardages used in these kits has been guided by the pattern. We have only knit size Small ourselves and so can vouch for the yardage for this size.
