This gorgeously soft new yarn by Urth Yarns is named for its extra-fine micron count: 16 microns!!
This is the lowest micron count we have ever come across in pure merino (by comparison, cashmere is usually around 19). So this yarn is truly luxurious.
(The smaller the Micron measurement, the finer and softer the wool.)
We LOVE this yarn for its handle and softness, but also for the gorgeous hand-dyed rich, tonal shades that make it ultra pleasurable to work with and to wear.
