    One skein of Merino Cloud
PDF Pattern for Triangle and Rectangle shawls

    You will also need:

Rectangle shawl is 74” long x 11” deep before blocking. Sample shown uses Colours Carmel-by-the-Sea and 329.

Ombre Merino Cloud is a hand-painted yarn which is an ingenious mash-up of variegation and self-striping, with much longer sections of individual colours than regular variegated yarns, but more blended transitions than self-striping yarns.

Merino Cloud is an unbelievably soft and luxurious blend of Fine Merino and Italian Cashmere: Merino Cloud is unlike any other yarn!

This Fingering Weight yarn contains an exceptionally high quality cashmere which makes it super soft  and as light as a cloud, but with tons of loft and body, and exquisite drape and stitch definition.
  • Ingredients:
    80% Fine Merino
    20% Italian Cashmere

    400m (440yd)

    100g

    Care:
We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns.

Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins.

Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn.

If you're pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness.
