Merino Cloud & Beads Fade Kit

These STUNNING Fade Kits have been exclusively created for Tribe by Artyarns, and they are amazing!!

Combining our favourite yarn bases with our favourite yarn with our favourite colours of the season and our favourite dye technique, these kits are a dream come true!

The kit includes either 4 or 5 skeins of Artyarns’ most luxurious hand-painted yarns:

• 4 x Merino Cloud (80% Extra Fine Merino, 20% Cashmere); 437yd/400m/100g
• 1 x Beaded Silk & Sequins Light (100% Japanese Silk with glass beads and sequins); 110yd/100m/50g

Each and every skein is hand-painted by artisans at the Artyarns studio.

Here's a link to some patterns which would be gorgeous made with this yarn set. The beads could be added as a border to a shawl, a necklace-neckline for a sweater, or bracelet-cuffs or held together with the yarn for a glamorous hat - the possibilities are endless!

[PS - Merino Cloud has a great deal of loft. It is soft enough to be worked as a fingering weight on 3.75mm needles (yielding 5.5 sts per inch) or as a heavy fingering on 4mm needles (yielding 5 sts per inch), or as a dk weight on 4.5mm needles (yielding 4.5 sts per inch).

Because of the loft in the yarn in fills in nicely and does not result in too-holey fabric. Because of the softness in the yarn, it can actually be knitted even on 2mm (size 0) needles, and would still not be too stiff!]
