Isager Wool Soap

We love this new Wool Soap developed in-house by Isager.

ISAGER Wool Soap does not contain lanolin and which makes it perfect for washing any natural fibre, including alpaca.

(We don't like wool washes which contain lanolin - there's no need to add it, and it makes your knits heavy and greasy - like washing your hair over and over with conditioner and never washing it out. This is especially important for alpaca since the hairs from alpacas are hollow. If you wash alpaca wool with soap containing lanolin, the hair cavities fill with lanolin, and the fabric loses its airiness.)

The soap can be used for all kinds of "wool", and is also very well suited as a mild detergent for non-wool yarns such as Isager Trio and Isager Bomulin.

If you like fragrance in your soap, we recomment adding a few drops of your fav essential oil.

Blocking is such an important step for finishing your project, especially after a pouring hours of love and care into your WIP. Give your project the love and care it deserves with this Soap. 

SPECIFICATIONS

• Liquid detergent with soapwort extract
• 100ml or 500 mL
• Renewable raw materials
• Contains vegan soapwort extract
• Contains natural lactic acid that reduces limescale
• Without palm oil and petrochemical raw materials

Application

20 ml per 2.5kg of dry laundry for ALL degrees of hardness and temperature ranges.

Ingredients

Water, Lauryl glucoside (from coconut), Sodium coco sulphate (from coconut), Lactic Acid, Table Salt (NaCl), Benzyl Alcohol, Soapwort extract.
Ingredients in accordance with EU Diretive 648/2004

• 5 % – < 15 % nonionic tensides of plant origin
• < 5 % anionic tensides of plant origin
• < 5 % soapwort extract, benzyl alcohol and lactic acid
