Spicy Puno is a soft, light and lofty yarn made from 68% baby alpaca, 10% merino wool and 22% polyamide. The baby alpaca and merino fibres are filled into a fine polyamide net, a special production method that gives a full but light yarn with roughly double the yardage of a traditionally spun yarn.

Gepard describe Puno as one of the softest yarns they have ever worked with, almost like cashmere but with a beautiful, raw look. It is very easy to knit with, whether you are a beginner or prefer working with light, elastic yarns, and it is super comfortable to the touch.

All the fibres are RAS and RWS certified, and, like all wool in Gepard yarns, it is mulesing-free.
