  • We love WILDFLOWER by Tine Rousing:

"WILDFLOWER is my contribution to the BOTANICA collection with @isageryarn.
The approach to the project was based on colors and organic shapes. I wanted to challenge myself with colors that I don’t normally work with, as well as scaling up patterns without compromising on quality, fit and finesse.

The main color is Jensen Yarn and Spinni held together while the color pattern is worked in 3 strands of Spinni which gives an opportunity to play with colors.
The sweater has fringes on the yoke to emphasize the wild flowers in the field."

We have created kits using the exact yarns and colours in this original design, because it's perfect!

  • Construction:

Wildflower is worked from the top and down with a circular yoke. A multicoloured pattern is worked using stranded colourwork. Details with fringes are attached at the end. The sweater is finished with a wide ribbing on both body and sleeves.
Wildflower is worked primarily from charts, which are located at the end of the pattern.

Renowned for classic yarns made from natural fibres, well suited for knitting, crochet, weaving and embroidery.

All the wool qualities are ideal for felting and for dyeing with plant dyes.

It is important to us that our yarns are produced with the greatest amount of care taken to both animals and humans.

Carefully created so the colours work well together both within and across the qualities. We rarely change the colours, as the range primarily consists of BASIC COLOURS, amongst which contemporary colours can always be found.

The colours and qualities of our finer yarns can be mixed to create unique pieces.

As a rule, single ply, densely spun yarns should not be used individually for working in the round, as they may pull the finished work. When worked together with other qualities this problem is avoided.
