Manada is a wonderful alternative to standard silk-mohair yarns. We find it to be more fluffy and airy, less shiny and absolutely ZERO itch!
Manada blends the lustrous, long, bright and luxurious hairs from Angora goat (mohair); the fine, buttery soft and elastic wool of the merino sheep; the sumptuous wool of the Mongolian yak with high quality mulberry silk and Pascuali's years of experience in developing high quality natural yarns to produce this beautiful yarn.
Manada (which means “herd” in Spanish) is a rare and durable blend of natural and high quality fibres and is unlike anything else on the market today.
Bright or Pastel? 25 Colours for Every Taste! We find the palette to be perfectly zingy and wearable.
Pascuali Standards The merino wool is, of course, mulesing-free. It comes from Argentina (Patagonia) and is GOTS-certified. This means that the animals are kept according to ecological standards and no toxic bleaches, dyes or other chemicals are used in the manufacturing of the yarn.
The kid mohair comes from South African farms, the yak wool comes from Mongolian herds, which are kept in the traditional way by nomads. Finally, the Mulberry Silk is sourced from China.
The fibres are processed into the yarn for us in Peru by a renowned spinning mill which Pascuali has been working with for many years.
In the production of their natural yarns, they pay special attention to a sustainable supply chain that meets its social, ethical and ecological responsibility. From the farm to the finished yarn, Pascuali stands for high standards in terms of environmental protection, animal welfare and working conditions.

Pascuali are a young company from Cologne who's yarns are characterized by their rarity and deluxe class with outstanding high quality.
All Pascuali yarns are made exclusively from fair-traded natural fibres produced in an ecological and fair way, where exceptional quality is just as important as the careful keeping of the animals.
The company owner personally travels to far-flung locations to visit each farm and inspect the farm animal treatment and housing conditions. Yarns are never purchased through intermediaries. The wool quality is as much in focus as the conditions on the farms for our company.
Before we choose the wool of the best quality we check out 20 fair farms with the same wool.
