You may wish to CO extra sts in multiples of 4 (8 or 16 or even more) for extra width around legs and hips. Remember to work extra decreases to get rid of these extra sts.
Sample was knit to 30” long from underarm to bottom of garment. To work to this length, work as pattern directs (garter st edging, then St st) for 18.5 (18, 18, 18, 17.5, 17.5)“ before beginning decreases for waist shaping. Work extra decreases here if you CO extra sts.
