    • Susan Crawford is a UK based knitwear designer.  She lives and works in the Lake District National Park with her husband Gavin, and daughter Charlie. Together they run their small independent yarn, knitwear design and publishing company.

Susan’s passions for knitting, wool, fashion history and books are the threads that tie the separate areas of the business together; and sustainable, ethical, traceable, inclusive, slow fashion is at the core of everything that she does.

A love of vintage knits paired with a lack of patterns to fit Susan’s size or shape, began a career which has revolved around the recreation and rewriting of vintage patterns along with creating her own designs with a vintage aesthetic to suit all shapes and sizes.
