This stuffy-soft, squishy, fluffy yarn just melts our hearts! Locally hand-dyed at Layla's London studio.
Qing Fibre's immaculate colours are achieved by hand-dying in small batches with professional acid dyes. They are perfect on a base of super soft, luxury superwash blend spun from merino, cashmere & nylon for strength.
This fingering weight yarn is a fantastic alternative to Silk Mohair since it's much easier to work with. It also creates a fabric with a wonderful fluffy halo and is lovely and warm. It will add gorgeous texture to your knits. No wonder it's a the darling of so many knitting and crochet designers, including the inimitable Stephen West.
Gauge: Fingering 2.75 - 3.5mm (US 2 - 4) - just a guide. 26 - 28 sts = 10cm (4")
We are over the moon to stock Qing Fibre, which is locally dyed here in London by über talented Layla. Originally from Beijing, China, Layla began dyeing yarn in London around 2015 an officially started her brand in 2016. Qing Fibre yarns are instantly recognisable and fly off the shelves as soon as they grace them. We advise you to snap them up before they are gone :)
All Qing Fibre blends are ethically and carefully sourced from Peru and hand dyed in London.
