The white and black wool comes from 2 different flocks near our hometown. This yarn is so different and light. This yarn is made with \u003cstrong\u003e100% Manchega wool\u003c\/strong\u003e. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eManchelopi's unspun, twist-free strands make this “cheese” a rare and high-quality yarn which creates \u003cstrong\u003ethe most wonderfully airy and characterful fabric when knit up\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLike it's more famous unspun cousin Plötulopi, the ribbons of yarn off the \"wheel\"\/cheese are more delicate and easily pulled apart. Once knit though, the yarn becomes \u003cstrong\u003estrong, very hardwearing and durable, whilst magically maintaining its airiness and bounce\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUnlike Plötulopi, \u003cstrong\u003eManchelopi consists of two (untwisted) strands\u003c\/strong\u003e, so it's not as fragile to handle, and you are actually able to carefully knit right off the \"wheel\/cheese\" without the need to wind the yarn off first.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhen you accidentally break the yarn, just rub it together in the palms of your hands to rejoin and you'll never know the difference. This wonderful property means that you'll like have no ends to darn in when adding\/changing yarns - just splice together! Perfect for patterns where you're chopping and changing yarns all the time.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAlso, Manchega yarn is \u003cstrong\u003emuch, much softer\u003c\/strong\u003e. It smells gorgeous, and you'll have to pick out the odd bit of straw.
