Paca Merino Sport

Sport weight is our new favourite gauge to work with: it works up more quickly than Fingering weight but is less bulky than DK, so it's super versatile.

Our American friends have been using this weight forever, but it's relatively new us over this side of the pond. It can usually be substituted patterns calling for Heavy Fingering weight or Light DK weight yarn. And there are loads of really great patterns written for this weight of yarn too - here's a selection on Ravelry.

This gorgeous yarn by Paca La Alpaca has a lovely twist. It's soft, smooth and colours are nice and crisp. 100% Superwash Merino - perfect for garments, socks, shawls and accessories!

Hand dyed in small lots from Paca La Alpaca's studio near Guadalajara, Spain, each skein is unique and special. You should expect some small, normal variation from skein to skein.
