Class Option
  • Thursday 10th Oct: 4pm - 7pm

We LOVE all things Cocoknits, ESPECIALLY the Cocoknits Method for knitting seamless set-in sleeves!  If you've been to the shop in Richmond, you've likely seen many Cocoknits designs on display.

We are so thrilled to host Julie Weisenberger, the founder of Cocoknits, for one evening only this Autumn!

One of the most exciting things about Julie's method is the beautiful English Tailoring technique which, unlike most traditional patterns that create flat shapes, results in the truly three dimensional garments that impart a great fit upon completion.

The workshop will also go over Julie's game-changing Cocoknits Method – a system of tracking knitting progress in your own easy to follow customized worksheet. Your knitting life will never the the same again!

In this fast-paced class, taught by Julie herself, you will be working on a baby sweater from a pattern which is provided. Spots are very limited!

We invite you to stay back afterwards to enjoy the less formal Meet & Greet with Julie where you'll have a chance to oooh and aaah at a pile of inspiring Cocoknits Samples. This will also be a good opportunity to get your Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book signed by Julie.

You have the options below to enrol in
    1. Workshop Only
    2. Workshop + Signed Copy of Cocoknits Sweater Workshop Book
    3. Workshop + Signed Copy of Cocoknits Sweater Workshop Book + Sweater Workshop Journal

  • About the Teacher:

    Meet Julie

Cocoknits founder, Julie Weisenberger, learned to knit and completed her first sweater in college while studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria. She has been knitting and designing ever since. In the 1980s she ran her own knitwear company; in the 1990s she designed sweaters for yarn companies and magazines; and in 2007 she founded Cocoknits.com, her own pattern and tool company.

Over the years she has developed and perfected a unique top-down, seamless method of sweater knitting called the Cocoknits Method, and created a line of tools that make the process of knitting and Making easier and more beautiful. For the past decade Julie has been teaching classes throughout the United States and in Europe on the Cocoknits Method and selecting flattering knitwear styles for different body proportions. She lives in Oakland, California.

Who doesn't love a cheeky little freebie now and again?
